Le siège social du CIFEJ est déménagé à Athènes

I deeply believe in the CIFEJ mission and I feel proud to be elected on its board. Children's good cinema is an outstanding tool to federate empathy towards difference and diversity. I wish for our organization to keep on sharing its values across the globe to build bridges and peace. I accepted to collaborate in the creation of social media content for the organization. 

It is truly inspiring that we take time to meet virtually once a month. I am having a hard to get together with the board of directors of Le Machin Club four times a year. 

I personally became a member of CIFEJ in 2015 because I believe in the mission of the organization and also because it provided me a panorama of children film festivals around the globe.   

As it is always a challenge to represent the diversity of the world in one association, everyone in CIFEJ is devoted with good intentions towards the children cinema industry. 

The current board of directors has representatives of Tunisia, Cyprus, India, Greece, Romania, Iran, Japan, China and Canada on my behalf. 

We gathered in Athens, the cradle of democracy, for a new chapter of the organization as its headquarters moved from Iran to Greece. This year the organization is kicking its 70th anniversary of existence! 

​Established in 1955 under the auspices of UNESCO, CIFEJ is a global media organization dedicated to promoting culturally relevant, educational content for children and youth. Initially established in Brussels, Belgium, the organization is now headquartered in Athens, Greece, hosted by the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Centre – Creative Greece S.A., under Creative Hub GR.
